Life Outside the Clinic
Coffee
A couple of years ago, my wife and I received an espresso machine for our wedding gift. We initially started experimenting with different coffee beans, ratios and techniques, which has slowly turned into an obsession. I love exploring new roasts, flavor profiles, learning about where the coffee is from and the cultures across different regions. I love learning new pour-over techniques or espresso extractions. On weekdays my mornings always start with a cappuccino that I have meticulously dialed in over the course of the years, however I love exploring new coffee shops on the weekends and supporting local businesses. I will often bring a dental textbook with me and spend my weekend mornings drinking coffee while reading a few chapters.

Plants
I am a proud owner of over 30 different species, some of which I have cared for over the span of over 5 years. I love buying new as well as taking care of old plants. I enjoy learning about their requirements and how to help each one of them thrive. I am very proud of my collection and love showing it to my friends and family.
Pickleball
Outside of the office you will most likely find me on any of the local pickleball courts playing with my wife and friends. I am very competitive in nature, and after I stepped back from my swimming career, pickleball has allowed me to channel that competitive drive into a new and exciting sport. I have slowly started learning tennis as well, with hopes to transition into playing it in the future.

Technology and Cars
I am always up to date and in the know on new gadgets and the new cars that have come to market. This initially started as two separate passions, however over the course of the years and with adoption of technology, the worlds are slowly merging. I always look forward to spring when car meets in Louisville begin.

3D design and manufacturing
As mentioned in my clinical portfolio, I own a personal resin 3d printer setup. I enjoy designing and printing unique things that I need around the house. I have an account on a 3d design sharing website where I sell my designs, as well as an Etsy store, where I sell my finished 3d prints. I have been doing it for a little over a year and have just hit 450 sales. However, I treat it as a hobby and not a business.
